2010 APA of Acadiana Study Group Information

 

The American Payroll Association of Acadiana Chapter will be offering a Study Group for the CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) and the FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) Certifications.  This study group will cover related material and help you prepare to sit for the national certification exams to be held during the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011.  The actual certification exams are independent of this study group.

 

Joining a study group is one of the most effective methods of studying for APA’s Certification exams! 

 

NOTE: The deadline for Registration and Payment is Friday, April 30, 2010!  There must be a minimum of six (6) participants in order for classes to be held.  Study group sessions will begin on Thursday, May 13th, 2010, and will be held every two (2) weeks with the final session ending on Thursday, August 26, 2010. (No class on July 8)

 

Classes will be held at Lafayette General Medical Center – Human Resource Dept Meeting Room on Thursday Evenings at located at

201 Audubon Blvd
(Oil Center).  The cost of the Study Group is $275.00 per person for Non-APAA members, $175.00 for APAA members or $205.00 for Study Group and one (1) year chapter membership.  All fees include study handouts, instruction and written exams.  The 2010 Payroll Source is required for the study group and is NOT included in the cost of the Study Group.

 

Confirmation of Registration:

Upon receipt of registration, our chapter will process your information and formally register you in the study group sessions.  About one (1) week prior to the start of the class, a confirmation email with time and location details will be forwarded to you.  If you do not receive email confirmation, please contact Wendy David, APAA President.  Registering early will ensure timely receipt of the information.

 

Refund/Cancellation Policy:

Registration fees are refundable when the class, for which payment was submitted and received in full, is cancelled by the APA Acadiana Chapter.  If classes are cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, participants will be notified before the sessions are to begin and tuition refunds will be processed.  Refunds will be received within 30-45 days. A full refund will ONLY be issued if the course is cancelled before May 12th, 2010. No refunds will be issued after May 23th.   All classes require minimum enrollment. 

 

The APA Acadiana Chapter reserves the right to cancel, postpone, and combine courses and change class instructors or locations in unforeseen circumstances.
